All females must have cleared genetics, eye clearance, and OFA Hips and Elbow clearances, as well as be tested for Brucellosis disease.

Brucellosis Test
Canine brucellosis is a contagious bacterial infection caused by the bacterium, "Brucella Canis". This blood test is done through your local vet and needs to come back negative 3 to 6 months prior to mating.

MDR1: Multi-Drug Resistance
CEA: Collie Eye Anomaly
DM: Degenerative Myelopathy
HC: Hereditary Cataracts
PRA_PRCD: Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration

Eye Clearance:
This test is done through a canine vision specialist, approved through the OFA, and should be preformed every year to determine the health of the oculus.

OFA Hips and Elbows:
These test have to be done through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and are to prevent hip/elbow dysplasia from being passed down the line.
